Christmas Bloggy gift exchange

Several blog friends from The Blended Blog decided to get together for a gift exchange. (I participated in one last year too.) The fun thing about this exchange is that the participants haven’t met in real life (well a few of them have but the majority of us haven’t). I was assigned the fabulous Lana of Two Teens and Their Mama. She lives in the Pacific Northwest (on the other side of the world from me!). Go to her blog to see what I got her!

I received a package from Katie of The Mishaps and Mayhem of a Solitary Life. Look at the fun box she sent! She wrote all over it with her perfect teacher handwriting 🙂
I’m ripping into the box…  and it’s perfectly packaged with a card sitting on top.
and the sweetest note on the back! And even though we’ve never met, she knows I have a thing for scarves!  …so she got me the sweetest two-sided infinity scarf! Polkadots and chevrony stripes on one side and floral on the other. And oh-so warm! I’m gonna get a lot of wear out of it, I can tell! Especially when I go to Colorado next month!
Isn’t it so cute??? She also sent this adorable Christmasy sign. I immediately found a place for it!
PERFECT!! I love the message on it!! The perfect reminder for this busy season.  Merry Christmas to my bloggy friends. I’ve never met you (yet! maybe in 2016?) but I look forward to another year of blogging together! Yay for community! Even when it’s virtual! 🙂

  1. Katie hit a home run and you scored!! That scarf is divine. You will wear it so well, so prettily (ha, is that a word) with your great coloring. And that sweet message board couldn’t be more YOU. You are the epitome of keeping Christmas in your heart the year-through with all the good things you do for so many others. Blessings to you for all of the blessings you bring!

  2. What lovely gifts! The scarf is so unique, and I love the plaque. Wonder where Katie got it? Thank you again for my gifts, Sheila. They were absolutely perfect for me.

  3. YAY!!! So glad you like both of the gifts!! And the scarf looks great on you!! Hope you had a great Christmas!! Oh and I’m all for a 2016 meetup too!! 🙂 xoxo
