Yesterday we dressed up the swing dress. Today I’m going to show you how you can style it in a more casual way.
It’s easy! Just add sneakers and a denim jacket or vest. I don’t have a denim vest but they were very popular this summer so if you have one, you could certainly add that!
This is such an easy look. And did I mention comfortable? Yes! It really is!
I added a fun polka dot necklace. You could add some color in the necklace or even a scarf. Or add a colorful handbag!
When I got home from this photo shoot, my sweet little niece, who was out riding her bike, asked me, “What’s wrong? Why are you wearing your jammies?” I guess the dress, with nothing else to dress it up, looks like comfortable “loungewear.” It’s that comfy! Ah….out of the mouth of babes…!
I hope you will come back tomorrow to see another layered look!
Note: I did not receive any compensation to talk about this dress. I just wanted to share it with you because I love it so much and I want to share it with you. There is no affiliate link in this post.
That’s the best, when you can get away with looking awesome and feeling so comfy that people think it’s pajamas.
I think this is my favorite look yet. I think it’s neat that it still looks dressy-ish (because it’s a dress, obviously) but the denim jacket and sneakers give it a feminine casual look. Gotta get me some sneakers like that. (MA has some like that from FitFlops in SL blue! I’ve been wanting some ever since I saw hers.) And I love that necklace!
The sneakers are from Old Navy. They were on sale for $8.00! But this was at least a month ago if not more. This outfit would be perfect for running errands or even going to the movies. The necklace is from Bealls Outlet and it was CHEAP! You certainly can look pulled together for not very much money.
What a great dress!! Love this look…I’m all about comfort too!! I think dresses and sneakers are so cute!! You look fabulous!
Thanks Katie! Comfort + Cute = A+
