Day 23: A styling dilemma {Write 31 Days}

Today I had a styling dilemma. My husband and I were attending the Jax Innovation Connection Conference and I wanted to wear logo wear for our company. Michael had a polo shirt with our logo on it but the only thing I had was a tee shirt. A tee shirt is very comfortable but it doesn’t look very professional. So what could I do?

I decided to pair it with white jeans and red flats (for comfort!), and then to dress it up even more, I added a statement necklace and topped it with a navy blazer.

(Pardon the poor lighting. I did not manage to get a picture during the day. Did I mention it was an all day event?)  It was a successful conference! We met a lot of innovators, shared our idea with several Angel investors and learned a ton about marketing! Here is our booth space. ICC

I forgot to mention that we attended this event for free! Michael won a pitch competition at the Start Up Jax Meetup and his prize was a free booth space and two admission tickets! Score!

  1. What a fabulous opportunity! I pray that God blesses your new venture like crazy! Nice job with dressing up your t-shirt! You look just right! Not too casual, not too dressy.

  2. Way to go on your family business venture:-) Looks great!! It seems like it would be a very successful product. Good luck in developing it further. You’ve inspired us:-)…and love all your creative dress-up technigues, too–
