Today I was able to get my sweaters, vests, and the rest of my winter stuff out of the attic. I decluttered two bags worth of stuff and took stock of what holes I have. Here are a few things I’d like to add.
I’ve already mentioned that I want to add some burgundy pants to my colored jeans collection. I found these cute wine pixies at Old Navy. These look like they lean a little more to purple than red online so I’m not sure if they’re the color I’m after.
While looking at pixies, I also came across these mustardy ones. These would look good with black, grey, navy and cream. And since I have all those colors I think I need them.
I gave away my denim skirts. They’re just too short at my age. I do not feel comfortable in them. But I’d like a longer pencil denim skirt. Jo-Lynne styled a really cute outfit with boots and boot cuffs. I found this skirt at Old Navy.
It’s one of those pieces that could stretch into other seasons: with tights and boots in the winter, sandals and tees in the spring. In fact, it’s cute as is in the picture with a striped tee and sneakers.
I have a lot of sweaters but I don’t have any pink! How can that be!?
Although this is more coral, it would fit in my wardrobe so well! I’d like a hot pink and a soft pink as well. I’ll have to look for a deal.
Do you assess your wardrobe and check it for holes? Or do you just wing it?
