Fall Fashion Find: olive pants

Sharing my fall fashion finds!

Joining in with The Blended Blog’s linky party where we are sharing our fall fashion finds.

I have been looking for some colored denim-like pants but I wasn’t having any luck.  Then a few weeks ago, I tagged along with a friend to the Towne Center. After stalking Old Navy but leaving empty-handed, she suggested we pop into the Dress Barn store next door.

I had NEVER even stepped foot in Dress Barn before, truth be told, but because she wanted to go, I agreed. After some browsing she found some colored jeans. She tried some on and liked them. While she was in the fitting room,  I found the same pants in petite! I quickly tried some on and yay! I really liked the fit: perfect length, high-enough waistband  and I loved the color! How could I resist? I bought two!

I’m wearing the olive pair styled with a chambray top. I added leopard flats and grey pearls. Such an easy, comfy outfit, yet I feel pulled together. I can tell I’ll get a lot of mileage out of this pair of pants! Stay tuned for more ways to style these olive skinnies. 1. Cute outfit! I love chambray anything, and who would have thought to actually go into Dress Barn? Ha! I just found your blog today (from the link up at Get Your Pretty On) and I am excited to subscribe! Looking forward to your posts, Sheila!

  2. Hi Maryanne! I’m so glad we connected! I know, right? Pants in a Dress Barn?? I was not having any luck looking in my usual stores so imagine my surprise (and my pleasure) at finding what I was looking for in an unexpected place! Life lesson here, maybe? So glad to have “met” you! ~Sheila

  3. This kind of thing happened to me recently with Loft. A place I don’t shop but went in and found the perfect skirt. I guess you just never know!
