Have you heard of H&M? I had not until Michael and I went to Paris, the airline company lost our luggage and we had to go shopping! I googled “cheap clothes in Paris” or something like that and found a store around the corner form our VRBO apartment. The clothes were cute, trendy and affordable (for Paris!). So imagine how thrilled I was several years later when our mall got a store!
Annie “needed” something from Lush yesterday so we did a quick trip to the mall. I let her go to Lush on her own while I popped into H&M. She doesn’t really like that store and I wanted to browse. I’m still on the lookout for burgundy pants. I did find some but they were “super skinny.” Yeah. They didn’t get above my calf. THOSE did not go home with me!
However they had several cute things, four of which DID come home with me!
First up is this buffalo plaid shirt in red and navy. It’s not flannel but that’s a good thing. I’ll have more chances to wear it. Because of the darker colors, it says “fall” to me. These are some of my favorite colors to wear so I’ll be getting a lot of use out of this one I’m sure! This shirt was not on sale. I paid $25. This is part of their L.O.G.G. collection which I really like. It’s a little more classic/preppy than the rest of the store.
This cable knit sweater was a find! Annie actually spotted it. I really liked the light pink color but the M was baggy so I tried on the S in this burgundy color (it doesn’t really look burgundy in this shot but it is). At $10 it definitely came home with me! (One came home with Annie too!)
My navy cardigan is very worn and faded so I was happy to find this one for $15! They had lots of colors. It was hard to stop at just one. I will be able to wear this over the checked shirt.
This navy shirt initially had a two-for-$20 price tag on it so I picked out two shirts: a navy and a burgundy one. But then I noticed a $5 sticker on this one. The burgundy one wasn’t $5 so I put it back. This will be a great layering piece! Under the buffalo checks, the burgundy sweater and lots of other things I already own. I love finding basic pieces at rock bottom prices!
So what do you think? Just over $50 for 4 pieces? I think it was a good haul!
I love H&M! Sure wish they shipped to Canada though. The closest one to us is 4 hours away
Oh shoot! Well, if you want to come to Florida, here’s another good reason! ?
