GYPO Spring Challenge, Week 2

I have a confession to make. I’ve been doing a lousy job following the challenge. Partly because I don’t have all the pieces and have no time to shop, partly because it’s too hot and I’ve had to “modify” (completely change the prompts) and partly because I’ve been traveling. I am leaving again for a two week trip where I’ll mostly be wearing a uniform. Oh, and I’m going to Alaska where it’s still too cold (for a Florida girl) to be wearing spring type clothes. So I’m packing mostly fall/winter clothes and will be winging it.

Here are a few outfits I was able to actually wear.

This was my interpretation for Day 6: White jeans+Cardigan+grey tee+long necklace+sandals. I went with a wedges because I still don’t have metallic sandals (but I ordered some from Land’s End!) and I went with a navy tank instead of grey because I liked the look better. Oh and I preferred the scarf over the necklace. I did lose both the cardigan and the scarf later in the day.

This one was Day 4: Chambray+white tank+dark wash jeans+hoop earrings+bright flats. I subbed a short sleeved peplum chambray for the long sleeved one as I still don’t have one that’s not denim. I also subbed the bright flats (don’t have those either) and wore my sneakers.

And this is today’s look(Day 10): Printed top+white jeans+stud earrings+bright flats. Still no bright flats so I’m going with these wedges and I added the green and yellow scarf for some color.

I hope you visit my Style Me sisters and see the cute outfits they’ve been styling! Lots of great ideas for you! And don’t forget to register for our Nordstrom $130 gift card!

  1. Sheila, that last outfit was so springy. What a super blouse and love the scarf you paired with it. Of course, anything with green speaks to my heart.
