It’s week six of the Style Perspectives where 14 bloggers each pick a look that defines their personal style. The featured blogger on the Blended Blog showcases her signature style (the prompt for that day) and then the other bloggers (on their personal blogs) show how they interpret it. Be sure to stop by the Blended Blog to see the featured look.
Lana is up with styling a spring sweater. Since Lana lives in the Pacific Northwest, it makes sense that she would style a spring sweater. However, once it turns spring here in NE Florida, sweaters are too warm to wear all day! It’s normal for me to tote along a cardigan all spring and summer long as the INSIDES are usually quite chilly to make up for the BLISTERING outside.
First up is this light weave poppy red sweater, paired with my favorite boyfriend jeans and silver flats. Next is a polka dotted pale green cardigan. The 3/4 length sleeve is perfect for warding off a slight chill and the color is very spring-y!
Another cardigan. This time lime yellow and black print. The weave is a little lighter, making it a good outer layer in the warmer temps.
But today what I’m really wearing is this:
Michael and I are downtown Jax participating in Spark Walk. We are selling our innovative truck bed cover! Let all your friends with trucks know that they can pick one up at Spark Walk today only for 10 bucks!
Did you see the great looks last week featuring bright pants? Look at all the variations of red in this graphic! Sheila – I can’t decide which is my favorite spring look. I think I will go with the lime/black cardi – but I am a big fan of denim/denim looks.

Of course you do! You are the sweater queen! Lol! ?
I really am digging that Lime and black sweater so cute on you! And truthfully I like what you’re actually wearing too, functional yet totally cute! 🙂
I have away my first business card at the convention today! So glad I dressed the tee up a notch!

Aww thanks Andrea! It was my favorite too once I looked at the pics.
LOVE the red!! But I am a cadri girl and wish I had your patterned one!! Great looks Sheila…hope you had a great day!!!
I’m a cardi girl too so I never wear the red!
I love them all but that red just looks so fantastic on you, Sheila! Gorgeous!
That was my favorite too Abbie! And I never wear that one! Crazy!
ummmmm…so I got distracted by all the greenery and forgot to look at the outfits and had to scroll through this post a couple of times because…cycle.
Hahaha Deena! I’ve been working hard in the garden!
Seems that there are a lot of votes for your red sweater…and it is divine on you but I thought your smile was brighter and spunkier in the patterned yellow-lime-black sweater. All adorable.
Thanks Leslie! That smile is thanks to my photographer! He always elicits a laugh out of me!
I’m loving that red sweater look. Very cute!
Thanks!
