The Summer Challenge has officially begun! This marks me playing along with the Get Your Pretty On Style Challenges {link here} for one year! I have done all the seasons since the fall and boy have I learned a lot! I’ve mentioned this before, but what I really like is that the challenge pushes me out of my comfort zone yet I can still remain within my tastes. For me that has meant trying new things and skipping some things. For this particular challenge I am bypassing the jeans vest, palazzo pants and kimono that were part of the shopping list. The hair wrap and maxi dress remain to be seen.
Day 1: Patterned shorts + flowy tee + denim vest + wedges.
I wore seersucker striped shorts in place of patterned shorts. (I really want floral ones but can’t find any I like. I’ll keep hunting.) I subbed my chambray shirt for the denim vest and although it was a hot day, it was perfect when I was indoors. I subbed hoops for the statement earrings and added the tassel necklace from a previous challenge.
Day 2: Bright shorts + graphic tee + metallic sandals. I’m wearing a lighter pink short rather than bright and a favorite tee from H&M (men’s dept) and my white and silver strappy sandals. Easy comfy outfit.
Day 3: White dress + denim vest + hair wrap + wedges.
I’m totally off-plan since I’m traveling today. White dress on a plane? I don’t think so! I wore colored denim capris, graphic tee, cardigan for the cold plane and silver strappy sandals.
The Style Me Bloggers are having another give-away! Be sure to enter for a chance to win a $200 Gap gift card!
Hahaha- love your airplane selfie and that tassel necklace is great!
Thanks Deena! (That’s the one from Walmart!)
We just got H&M and I am so sorry we did. I could easily spend every bit of my disposable income there each month. Such. Cute. Things. Love your menswear tee. You make it look very feminine and pretty.
I discovered H&M in France a few years ago and was thrilled when we got one about a year later! I call it “the IKEA of clothes”!
Great looks!! Great selfies!!
Thanks for stopping by Katie!
